Asthma is a common lung condition that causes occasional breathing difficulties.
It affects people of all ages and often starts in childhood, although it can also develop for the first time in adults.

Tell your doctor if you have any of the following side effects which may also happen with this medicine:

● Mouth and throat irritation ● Muscle cramps
Rare (may affect up to 1 in 1,000 people)
● A low level of potassium in your blood ● Increased blood flow to your extremities (peripheral dilatation). ● Very rare (may affect up to 1 in 10,000 people) ● Changes in sleep patterns and behaviour, such as restlessness and excitability
Be sure to tell your doctor and pharmacist if you are under nitrate-based medication for angina or heart problems or taking classes of drugs called nitrates or alpha-blockers like not nitroglycerin or correctly using albuterol as this could mean that your risk of a heart attack or stroke is higher in those who have a high nitrate level than you. 'Nitrates' or 'Alpha-blockers' can cause a dangerous drop in blood pressure, especially when taken at high doses. This is why you might need to take a beta blocker or a nitrate-based medicine with a prescription for this condition if you are also taking alpha-blockers.
